Kara Hall became a part of the Tritt family last year when her son, a rising 2nd grader and daughter, a rising 1st grader, became students. She immediately fell in love with Tritt and is so excited to now be a part of the staff as a paraprofessional in the SID/PID classroom.
Kara was born in Portland, Oregon, however, considers Atlanta to be her hometown. When she was in middle school/high school her family lived in Sao Paolo, Brazil. She moved back to Atlanta her sophomore year and graduated from Marist School. She attended Auburn University and received a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Child Life. She completed a Child Life Internship at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital and a Child Life Fellowship at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Kara was at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for over 5 years and then totally changed paths to pursue a career in software implementation. After she had her children, she was a stay-at-home Mom until her daughter started Kindergarten.
Last year she was thrilled to begin working with children again (her true passion) as an assistant teacher at Mt. Bethel Christian Pre-school. An opportunity arose when a new classroom was moved to Tritt and Kara jumped at the chance to be a part of the amazing Tritt team! She loves working in the yard, being a Daisy troop leader and traveling with her husband, Jonathan and two children.
